It’s almost seven years since my first post on this site. That’s a long time.
Starting today, future posts will be written in English. The main reason is simple: I want to share what I write with a wider audience. Most of the topics I cover (software, development, infrastructure, tech in general) are inherently international, and writing in Italian has been limiting who could benefit from them.
Italian is my mother tongue, and I’m confident enough in my English to write technical content clearly (a year at UCLA helped). That said, some posts will remain in Italian: anything that’s specifically relevant to an Italian audience: local services, Italian bureaucracy, that sort of thing.
Don’t be alarmed: I’ll continue writing every post myself, and all existing Italian content will stay online as-is. Stay tuned: it won’t be the only change!
